Repertoire

hfmBRASS’s repertoire extends from renaissance music to pop and jazz. Thanks to its creation, there are now large numbers of arrangements and original compositions for this line-up, all highly enjoyable for musicians and audiences alike. Thanks to the wide variety of sounds produced by brass instruments, ranging from the sumptuous glitter of baroque to foot-tapping big-band jazz, the ensemble occupies a special place within HfM Detmold. Its versatility and high standards of chamber music have earned it a role as an ambassador for the college.
