Gasthörer*innen (Guest students):

Persons who want to attend individual classes, seminars or lectures at HfM Detmold without being matriculated at a university can register as guest students for the desired class upon request and with the written consent of the responsible teacher.

The respective application must be submitted in writing to the Student Services Department. Proof of payment of the specified guest student fee must be provided. The registration as a guest student is valid for the respective semester and is certified upon request.

Gleichstellungsbeauftragte (Equal Opportunities Commissioner):

In the 2020 summer semester, Mrs. Eva Nolte was elected as the central Equal Opportunities Commissioner and appointed by the Rector for a three-year term.  She supports the Rectorate of HfM Detmold in all equal opportunities issues, e.g. composition of appointment committees or drafting of programmes for the advancement of women in the faculties. Mrs. Elisabeth Kohsiek is the decentralised Equal Opportunities Officer. She deals with equal opportunities issues at the three faculties and ensures the consideration of equal opportunities aspects in the fulfilment of the faculties’ tasks.
