PlayGround

PlayGround is the competition for new concert formats of the Detmold University of Music. We are looking for 20-minute performances that present (classical) music in a new form: whether as an ensemble, solo artist, or together with other art forms or musical genres. Our theme for 2022 is "Concerts for mobile stages".

You can win: prize money up to 4,000 EUR and/or a special diversity prize up to 3,000 EUR. The presentation of the individual artistic performances (20 minutes ShowCase) will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in and at the Tiny Music House at a prominent location in downtown Detmold, rehearsals will be arranged individually on Monday, May 9, 2022.

Deadline for submission of applications is Sunday, April 10, 2022, midnight.
