Third-party rental

The Hochschule für Musik Detmold has a large number of superbly appointed rehearsal rooms and concert halls, including the Konzerthaus with almost 600 seats and the Brahms Hall with 100 seats. The Konzerthaus is regularly used for performances by fixed cooperation partners, such as Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie Herford (Northwest German Philharmonic Orchestra of Herford) and the Detmold Chamber Orchestra. In individual instances, the Konzerthaus and Brahms Hall can also be rented by external event organizers.
