Since 2009, Aknne Kohler
Anne Kohler studied music education in Hamburg, and conducting and singing in Karlsruhe.
From 1996 to 2009, she has lectured in ensemble conducting, singing and voice training at the Hannover Academy for Music and Drama. Here she founded the jazz choir Vivid Voices, which was awarded 1st prize in the jazz category of the German choir competition. In addition to leading the chamber choir Pro Musica Bremen (2002 - 2004), she also took over leadership of the Capella St. Crucis Hannover in 2003, which has actively performed in concerts and has distinguished itself in oratorical and a cappella singing.
Anne Kohler studied master courses with Frieder Bernius, Eric Ericson and Tonu Kaljuste,
Barbara Schlick and Kurt Widmer; and she was both a member of many solo vocal ensembles and a vocal coach for diverse ensembles.
She currently works for several organisations in several regions as lecturer and judge in the field of choir conducting, vocal coaching and jazz choir conducting.
Since 2009, Anne Kohler is in charge of the Kammerchor and the vocal ensemble "Pop-up".
